October is one of our favorite times of the year with the cool weather and fall festivities. There are always things to do and events to attend no matter where you are.
Off in Bastrop and Marble Falls there are pumpkin patches such as Barton Hill Farms and Sweet Berry Farms to enjoy during the day. The two farms were nominated as some of the top pumpkin patches in Texas to visit offering games, live music, hay rides, and so much more.
Then here in Austin we have a festival quite similar to Wurstfest in New Braunfels, Oktoberfest. This is the place to get outside, take in the cool weather, and indulge in savory food and flavorful brews. The festival is ranking high in things to do in Austin so don't miss out and order your tickets today.
If you are looking for events to push you to the edge and bring you into the Halloween spirit check out The House of Torment here in Austin or take a ride with us down to The 13th Floor in San Antonio, TX. You will not be disappointed! The 13th Floor has ranked in the top 15 haunted houses in the country coming in at #6.
Interested in something a little less intense try out the Planet K Texas Fireworks for their annual Dias De Los Muertos Celebration. Embracing heritage and culture while enjoying a firework show is a great way to spend your days this fall season.
